Add to calendarThe Innovation + Design Hub powered by Blackstone Launchpad is pleased to host its Speaker Series with Dr. Steven Seltzer, founder of American Trash Management and SmartTrash. About the Speaker:
Steven Seltzer graduated from UC Berkeley in 1973 with BA in history. In 1990 he and another individual founded American Trash Management, where he worked as an owner/executive until 2023. In the late 1990s, he began the slow process of learning economics, taking introductory courses at various community colleges. He eventually earned an MA in economics from Cal State University East Bay (2006) and a Ph.D. from UC Merced (2011). Since 2012 he has been a lecturer (now Continuing Lecturer) in UC Merced’s ECON Department.
