This day will focus on Theta Tau’s Service Pillar. This event is a day where brothers and potentials will collaborate and make cards and care pages for staff members of UC Merced. There will be a Theta Tau canopy outside the door and a designated table for signing in before entering. To start off the event we will explain how the care packages and letters will be made and introduce the reasoning behind the care packages to the potentials. For the rest of the event, potentials and actives will have time to socialize as they make the care packages together. The potentials will have the opportunity to get to know the active brothers and vice versa. Designated active brothers will arrive before the beginning of the public event time to help aid with set up and will stay after the public event time to aid with clean up.
