The Innovation + Design Hub powered by Blackstone Launchpad is pleased to host its Speaker Series with UCM alumni, Brandon Ruscoe, owner and founder of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.

This entrepreneurship Speaker Series provides an opportunity to learn from Brandon’s real-life experience of becoming an entrepreneur, he will share his journey and then answer questions from the event attendees.

About the speaker: 

Pioneer graduate at UC Merced, discusses his entrepreneurial journey in building a family-owned real estate, property management, and construction company. A "how to" series on navigating: the housing crash, corporate bank influence, industry disruptors, legal challenges, rapid technology changes, inhospitably corrupt government agencies, business acquisitions, building the right team centered around culture, staying honest when your competitors aren't, maintaining your dreams after seeing behind the curtain, fires, floods, being totally out of your league at times and somehow still come out ahead. Entrepreneurship is not an easy path, but it is one of the most American things you can pursue, and never give it up.
