The point of Palestine Awareness Day is to open a dialogue and put the plight of Palestinian struggle to the forefront. For the first time in mainstream media, Palestinians are now being recognized as a legit people who are part of a nation that is still yet to be recognized by the US government. We aim to recognize Palestine as a legit nation in order to promote peace and prosperity for both Israelis and Palestinians. The Israeli government have commit?ed atrocities in Sheikh Jarrah and tear gassed the Al Aqsa mosque and entered in partially in a disrespectful way in the third most holiest site in Islam. We also aim to condemn terrorism and anti-semitism.
