Grammar Workshop: Choosing the Best Verb Tense

Are you ever unsure about which tense(s) to use for a specific piece of writing? Do you find yourself occasionally shifting between present and past, and unsure which is correct?

This workshop will cover guidelines for which tenses are preferred in different sections of your writing, from essays to research articles, as well as how to avoid "tense shift" errors. This workshop is open to all campus members. Handouts provided!
