We are a group of students at the University of California, Merced who are seeking to create a supportive, collaborative, and beneficial environment for ourselves and our peers. The goal of this club is to establish a permanent writing club at our university to bring together talented and dedicated writers who can be there to support each other's writing endeavors. We hope for more students to develop or realize their interest and passion for writing, whether that be in creative writing, professional writing, or writing as a hobby. This club shall be a place where writing minors can find inspiration and comfort by means of each other’s support. There will be many academic and social opportunities available to students through this club. This constitution shall establish a set of rules and procedures for the club and adhere to the regulations and policies of the university.
