ENGLISH PRONUNCIATION & FLUENCY WORKSHOP: Building Non-Academic Vocabulary & Slang

Tuesday, 5/2, 2:30-3:20pm, in COB 129

It's common for international scholars to arrive here with excellent academic vocabulary skills within their fields but limited vocabulary related to day-to-day life in Merced. This final workshop of the semester is especially for non-native English speakers who would like to increase that everyday vocabulary, including current slang. Participants are encouraged to bring questions about phrases they have heard but not understood. International spouses/partners welcome, too!
