International students, staff and spouses: Do you struggle to make yourself understood by colleagues or classmates? Accurate word stress in English is considered by many to be more important than "perfect" pronunciation for being understood! This workshop covers common patterns of word stress to help you speak clearly and predict where to place the stress on unknown English vocabulary.
