In honor of our commitment to diversity. Mercer is hosting its annual Diversity & Inclusion Summit virtually on Thursday, September 8th from 1 PM – 5 PM, Pacific Standard Time. This event is hosted by Mercer’s Racial & Ethnic Diversity business resource group. The Summit is designed to give talented Black, Hispanic, and Native American students, studying in Southern California, the knowledge they need to prepare for a career that makes a difference. Students selected to join us will have the opportunity to get an inside look at the fast-paced consulting services industry, where they’ll hear about different career paths, participate in workshops, engage in discussions on cultural belonging in the workplace, and network with Mercer colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS The event is open to students who self-identify as Black, Hispanic, or Native American in their sophomore, junior, and senior year who attend college/university in the United States. Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future We are accepting applications from students in a variety of majors, including Actuary Science, Biology, Business, Communications, Consulting, Economics, Finance, Health/Health Administration, Mathematics, Public Health, Psychology/Sociology, Statistics, or related science or business major. Please note, to be formally considered for some internship or college entry level roles at Mercer, they may require an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application. WHAT’S NEXT? Students interested in attending the Diversity & Inclusion Summit must apply via the Mercer careers website to be considered. The application deadline is Friday, August 12th 2022, at 11:59 PM. We will review application submissions on an on-going basis. If you meet minimum qualifications, you will be contacted to complete a recorded video interview on diversity through the online HireVue platform. Students selected to attend the Summit will receive a formal event invitation by Friday August 26th. Once received, RSVP as soon as possible by the date provided.
