The Region VI Student Conference is an opportunity for graduate, undergraduate, and high school students to present their research in a formal technical meeting, exchange ideas, and discuss programs with peers from other universities in the region. Region VI includes Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii. Additionally, it includes the Canadian provinces of Yukon and British Columbia. 

Cash prizes are awarded for first, second, and third place winners for each category (covered by AIAA nationals). First-place regional winners are then invited to participate in the AIAA Foundation International Student Conference, held during the AIAA SciTech Forum each January. 

Attendees will also be exposed to distinguished speakers like retired NASA astronauts, engineers, and various companies.
