The process of getting funding for your research is more competitive than ever. Join us to learn new strategies and techniques to help you plan, prepare and submit winning research proposals at the Faculty Grant Writing Institute.
This multi-day event offers information for all faculty members. New faculty are especially encouraged to attend the entire institute. There are a limited number of slots available for postdoctoral students and staff.
Everyone is asked to RSVP by March 26.
Events include a deans panel where UC Merced’s deans share their experiences and offer valuable insights on the research funding process; a two-day guest workshop with Holly Falk-Krzesinski, instructor of philanthropy and nonprofit organizations at Northwestern University and the vice president of Global Academic & Research Relations, Elsevier; a workshop on team grantsmanship; a speed networking event to meet potential research collaborators; a session on data management planning; a workshop with the office of Research Development Services; a session on the grant-proposal-review process and more.
