Join us for a workshop on How to Find Funding for Your Graduate Research from 3 to 5 p.m. March 6 in KL 232.

Learn the fundamentals of finding funding and preparing proposals for graduate research, and have an opportunity to get your questions answered by the presenter, Susan Carter, J.D., director of Research Development Services at UC Merced.

Topics will include the current funding environment; different types of funding available to graduate students; resources and guidance for finding funding opportunities; process of planning fellowship projects and grant-writing; basic do’s and don’ts of proposal development; tips for making your proposal as competitive as possible; and the proposal review process.
