Resource Center for Community Engaged Scholarship

As part of UC Merced's annual Research Week, everyone is invited to join the UC Merced Resource Center for Community Engaged Scholarship (ReCCES) as it brings UC Merced's research to the community.

ReCCES is hosting a reception featuring a research-poster gallery and faculty, students and community members speaking about ongoing collaborations and how they benefit the community.

Light refreshments will be served.

Students' research posters will be on display in the lobby of the Merced Civic Center/City Hall from March 4 through March 8, but the reception takes place from 3 to 5 p.m. March 5 in the Sam Pipes Room at the Merced Civic Center/City Hall, 678 W. 18th St.

Attendees will learn about community-engaged scholarship, the center's accomplishments and plans, highlights of projects with focuses such as dog-therapy and teen pregnancy, and more.
