Sign of the Times: Small Poetry ContestPerforming Arts - Books and Poetry | November 15 – 25, 2012 every other day | Various 5200 North Lake Rd., Merced, CA 95343 The Sign of the Times Small Poetry Contest is now alive for students at UC Merced. If you have some poetic juice, enter a poem of fewer than six lines and 30 words or fewer. The winner will be published on the Kolligian Library digital sign and on the Merritt Writing Program website. Yes, you can be locally famous, with hundreds of people a day potentially reading your dashing words. Contest ends Saturday, Nov. 24, with winners announced by Dec. 7.
