Presidential debate watch party: First debate focuses on domestic policySpecial Events - Other | October 3 | 5:30-9 p.m. | Kolligian Library, Bobcat Lair 5200 North Lake Rd, Merced, CA 95343 Office of Student Life The Office of Governmental and Community Relations and the Office of Student Life are hosting a presidential debate watch party with a group discussion to follow, in the Bobcat Lair. Pizza and light refreshments will be provided as people watch Democratic President Barack Obama debate Republican and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney on domestic policy issues. The debate will air on television, moderated by Jim Lehrer, host of PBS's "NewsHour." After the debate is over, discussion will be lead by Merced City Council Members Michael Murphy and Josh Pedrozo.
