The Peace Corps offers the opportunity to put your education, skills and experience to work in one of 76 countries worldwide.

The Peace Corps has more than 8,600 volunteers working in host communities to create sustainable solutions in education, the environment, forestry, natural resources, agriculture, health, business, and youth and community development.

Volunteers gain valuable hands-on international and foreign language experience during the 27 months they are abroad. The Peace Corps offers some excellent benefits, including student loan deferral, full medical and dental coverage, a living stipend, 24 vacation days a year, graduate school opportunities, career services and a readjustment allowance of $7,425 after two years of service.
