UC Merced’s Events Calendar was jointly developed by the Information Technology Department and the Office of Communications based on code donated by UC Berkeley. UC Merced then started a UC Community Source project and developed a new version which could be implemented easily at our sister campuses.

The calendar is the primary way for students, faculty and staff to advertise their events, ranging from lectures to athletics. (The Office of Communications may feature certain events of campus-wide interest on the UC Merced homepage.)
